Hungarian Parliament Building In Budapest

Without a doubt visiting the Hungarian Parliament Building at night is my favorite activity to do after sun down. Luminescence as far as the eye can see. One of the most magical experiences to have during your vacation to Budapest. Even if you have just seen the Parliament Building during the day, stopping by and seeing this ray of light cast over the Danube River is a memory to be held for a lifetime. Best place to view the Hungarian Parliament Building is across the river (small parking lot directly across) where you will find locals and tourists enjoying the same experience as yourself. 

Margaret Island

Explore the nightlife of Margaret Island and all of its quirky adventures. Margaret Island lies between Buda and Pest within the Danube River. Visiting Margaret Island is one of the best adventures to have on a night in Budapest. Explore the pretty lights dangling from above and join the locals in all the activities. To access the island, take the Margaret Bridge (South side of the island) and cross over.

Széchenyi Chain Bridge In Budapest

The most iconic bridge in Hungary is the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. This bridge connects the west side of the city (Buda) to the east (Pest). The Széchenyi Chain Bridge was completed in 1849 by English engineer William Tierney and Scottish engineer Adam Clark. If you are visiting Budapest, a walk across the famous bridge is surely worth your while, especially after dark.

Hungarian State Opera In Budapest

A visit to the Hungarian State Opera House is ideal for anyone interested in history and the performing arts. The Opera House was founded in the late 19th-century and has hosted a large number of world famous events. The Neoclassical architecture and historic presence captures any traveler immediately. Nothing beats a night at the Opera. Especially one as engaging and thrilling as the Hungarian State Opera.

Show Aboard the A38 Ship

A38 is a unique event venue that takes place on an old Ukrainian ship docked in the Danube River. The A38 has become a staple of the city’s nightlife attractions and is one of the most popular places to catch a show. Aboard the A38 are a number of performing artists and DJ’s from Budapest and from around the world. One of the best nightlife attractions in all of Budapest. Cruise by some of the most famous attractions along the Danube that are all lit up with pretty lights under the night sky. 

Budapest Jazz Club

Enjoy a night of almost criminal amounts of pleasure at the Budapest Jazz Club. Take time back to the early 20th-century and kick back with a cocktail and listen to Budapest’s finest arrangement of Jazz music. The best of the best come to Budapest Jazz Club to perform live for you and all of the other locals seeking a fun and exciting night in the city. Very local attraction that flies under the radar of most travel itineraries. Akvárium Klub Budapest

Last but certainly not least we have the Akvárium Klub. One of my personal favorite nightlife attractions in Budapest. Where else in the city can you enjoy a swim after dancing to the groove of the locals? The Akvárium Klub offers a large outdoor patio space for dancing, a unique spot below a glass-lined pool and a quieter room to escape the noise and activity. The Akvarium Club has become a hip joint for locals and tourists to come together and share an eventful night together.
